You can now move from idea to prototype faster, but users still hit activation cliffs, trust gaps, and friction the model alone cannot fix. That is why the PM role is not simply "dying." The coordination layer may shrink, but the judgment layer becomes more important: what problem matters, which segment it serves, what proof creates trust, and what next destination is worth selling.
When execution gets cheaper, deciding what deserves execution becomes the senior skill.
